FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Booking, payment, sessions, and what mental performance coaching is — answered plainly. Anything else, ask Floyd directly.
How do sessions work?
Booking runs through Cal.com, in your own timezone. Floyd is available every day, 12–8 PM Toronto time. Sessions are on Google Meet — your confirmation, video link, and a reminder before your session all come from Cal.com.
How do I book a session?
Choose your service on the Services page and use its booking button — each button goes directly to that service’s booking page on Cal.com. Pick a time, answer a few short questions, and your booking request is sent to Floyd. Every booking requires Floyd’s confirmation: your spot is held for 24 hours, and your booking is fully confirmed once your payment arrives.
How do I pay?
Payment is by Interac e-transfer or PayPal, both to floydxiao@icloud.com. Your spot is held for 24 hours — your booking is fully confirmed once the payment arrives.
No card is needed, and there is nothing to pay on this website — booking and confirmation happen through Cal.com and your payment.
If you have any issue with payment, email info@floydxiao.com or text +1 (437) 580-7171 and we can discuss the payment method.
What is the cancellation policy?
You can cancel up to 24 hours before your session for a full refund. Cancellations inside 24 hours are not refunded, but you can reach out if something serious comes up.
What is the rescheduling policy?
You can reschedule once, free of charge, up to 24 hours before your session.
When is Floyd available?
Every day, Monday to Sunday, 12:00–8:00 PM Toronto time. The booking page shows available times converted into your own timezone automatically.
Which languages do you coach in?
English and Mandarin — whichever you think in. Because sessions are online, Floyd works with athletes anywhere in the world.
Who is this coaching for?
Competitive athletes who take the mental side seriously: professional boxers, MMA and UFC fighters, competitive tennis players, and elite and developing athletes in other sports. Coaches, fight camps, gyms, and sports organizations can book a Team & Gym Consultation, and athlete managers are welcome to get in touch.
Is this sports psychology or therapy?
No. Mental performance coaching is practical training for competition: confidence, focus, composure, routines, and performing under pressure. Floyd is a certified Professional Life Coach and Master Mindset Life Coach — he is not a licensed psychologist, and coaching is not psychological treatment or a substitute for medical or mental-health care.
